Who May Qualify for Assistance

If you've been impacted by the government shutdown, you may qualify for our support programs. This includes federal employees, government contractors, and military personnel.

Colorado Resources for Federal Employees

  • Unemployment Benefits
    The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) offers up to 26 weeks of unemployment insurance for eligible furloughed federal employees. This typically covers around 55% of wages. Employees still working without pay may not qualify, and benefits received during furlough must be repaid if back pay is issued.

  • Claim Filing Guidance
    CDLE provides step-by-step instructions for different employment situations, including furlough, layoff, and voluntary separation.
