As a credit union, we’re governed by a Board of Directors and the Audit & Risk Committee. Members of the Board of Directors and Audit & Risk Committee donate valuable time and personal experience to help our organization be the best it can be.

The Board of Directors works together to provide strategic direction for Red Rocks and to provide all members with the best products and services available.

The Audit & Risk Committee ensures an annual examination of Red Rocks CU books and affairs is conducted.

Joeri Carty, Chairman

Joeri Carty is the Senior Director IT Business Solutions for NextEra Energy. He joined the Company in January 1996.  Joeri is responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions and Integrations, IT SOX compliance, IT Safety, and the Continuous Improvement Program. Joeri also has responsibility for the IT business services team which oversees IT Training, Communications, New hires, Employee Engagement and Change Management.

Joeri has over 25 years’ experience in the power industry leading resources to achieve significant results. He is passionate about developing people and driving Innovation. Joeri is a certified Executive and Leadership coach.

Joeri is a certified Six Sigma Master Blackbelt. He holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering and a Master Business Administration degree, both from the University of Florida.

Cesar Amicarella, Vice-Chair

Cesar Amicarella has over 30 years of international Energy industry experience. Cesar currently provides strategic advisory services and leads the design and execution of the digital transformation strategy for NextEra's Gas Infrastructure business unit. Cesar joined NextEra Energy in 2019.

Between 2012 and 2019, Cesar worked for DCP Midstream, one of the largest producers of Natural Gas Liquids in the US. While at DCP, Cesar held various leadership roles including seeding and enabling DCP's business transformation which included projects for the financial optimization of its gas plants and digitizing its contract lifecycle management.

Prior to joining DCP in 2012, he held a series of leadership roles in engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and quality at General Electric. These roles included assignments in multiple US and international markets and a 5-yr overseas assignment leading an $800 million manufacturing facility in Mexico.

Cesar is Master Black Belt certified from GE's Six Sigma program, holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University. He is fluent in Spanish and English. 

Julie Mensing, Treasurer

Julie Mensing brings 18 years of experience in accounting and finance. Most recently, she led the operational accounting team at DCP Midstream, LLC, where she focused on organizational changes and process transformation. Prior to this role, Julie worked in several accounting and financial reporting management roles at DCP Midstream and a local software company. Julie began her career at Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she served audit clients in various technology industries.

Julie graduated from the University of Denver in 2001 with her BS in Accounting and Masters of Accountancy. Julie is a certified public accountant in Massachusetts and Colorado.

Tiffany Watts, Secretary

Tiffany Watts, CPA, serves as a Director and Leadership Advisor at The Siegfried Group (Siegfried), helping financial executives become successful leaders in their organizations. Siegfried works alongside finance and accounting teams on their most important projects. Prior to joining Siegfried, Tiffany was the Director of Corporate Accounting at DCP Midstream, where she oversaw a variety of corporate accounting functions including technical accounting, consolidations and other areas of accounting. Prior to joining DCP Midstream, Tiffany spent nine years at Grant Thornton, where she was a Senior Manager in the audit practice. Tiffany is a Certified Public Accountant and attended the University of Cincinnati where she received a Masters of Science degree in Accounting.

Andrea Price

Andrea Price Valenzuela is the co-owner of a South Denver based real estate firm, Price & Co. As part of her real estate career, she has handled residential and commercial sales and REO (foreclosure) sales and disposition for over ten of the nation’s largest servicers. Her business expertise also includes tenant management, property rehab and commercial leasing. She trains and mentors agents that are new to the real estate industry and ensures commission and education compliance while helping to build their individual portfolio. She has received accolades for her sales including the South Metro Denver Board of Realtors Diamond Circle Award for multiple years. She is also a Founding Realtor Ambassador for The Animal Welfare Funding Alliance.

Andrea graduated from The University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010 with a BA in Political Science. She holds a Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.

Joe Massaquoi

Joe Massaquoi is a seasoned global finance executive and advisor. As CFO of Colorado-based Boom Supersonic, he led a growing team responsible for maintaining performance ahead of plan, allocating capital to support future growth, and nurturing key investor & stakeholder relationships.

Joe is passionate about driving business growth. He has enabled over $37 billon in external capital infusion into private and public corporations, guided the establishment of seven joint ventures, and executed over 40 M&A transactions. Internationally, he has lived, worked, and completed project assignments in China, France, Germany, Japan, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, and the UK.  

Joe earned a B.S. in Physics from Morehouse College, with Phi Beta Kappa honors and as the top-ranked graduate in his major.  He also received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Agnes Audebert

Agnes Audebert is an HR Director for a large global manufacturing company, headquartered in Denver. She supports the Executive team and their teams around the world.

Agnes began her HR career as the HR Manager of a local car dealership group. She spent 3 years with the group, growing the company by 300% and expanding their locations to 4 states and over 21 brands. She then transitioned to work for a global advanced materials company based in Cleveland and got the opportunity to move to Colorado as part of our integration team for an acquisition we made.

Agnes was born in Bordeaux, France and spent most of her early childhood in Normandy. Her family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio and became home for the next 10 years. She achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Business at Wake Forest University and her Master’s degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations at Cleveland State University.
